We are a 27 & 23 year old couple with an 11 month old baby boy. I'm from the UK and my hubs is from Louisiana. We just bought our first RV! Neither of us had ever traveled or vacationed (let alone lived!) in an RV before but now is the perfect chance for us to make this awesome change in our lives. Here goes nothin'!
--we bought the RV (36ft '96 Bounder) a couple months before scheduled move in to give us time to get it ready and take a couple weekend trips to work out any kinks... We pick it up tomorrow and have a short weekend trip planned out already. We'll be storing it day to day for now and we are moving in in September. My husband is an engineer and I stay home with the bub. Those things will stay the same for now and we'll be living at an RV park close to the office. As soon as we can find him a new job though we will be driving from Houston (where we are now) to Sacramento, CA to live closer to family and live a life much more suited to us. We can't wait to start our adventure!

We're pretty crunchy :) We love to camp and hike and hubs is a SUPER huge mtb freak!! I am an AP parent in many ways. My favorite things are basically just my little man so I love to swoon over him and give him the best love I can. We breastfeed, cosleep, babywear, cloth diaper (though I'm naughtily considering not CDing in the RV since we don't have a W/D :( and I feel awful about it, boo!) and more. We are friendly folks and are crazily in love. We've only been married a couple of years but the closeness of the RV will only (hopefully) make us stronger! yikes! :)

We really like Stephen F Austin State Park in Texas since it is so close to (current) home and has always been a great hike/bike area and the staff aren't bad either :) We're bringing our rig there for it's very first outing this weekend!

Suckiest campgroud for us has been Lake Charles State Park which we tent camped in and had an awful experience regarding another camper who had probably had a few too many beers and was acting a little bizarre... that's a story for another time! Besides that is was just pretty sandy and muddy and hard to let the bub play. Not awesome.
