This destination was recommended to us when we were in Austin for a half-marathon a couple years ago.  It is one of those out-of-the-way, must see places.  It's a little hilly so you might not want to hike it the same day you do a half

Awesome swimming hole outside of Austin, Texas, called the Hamilton Pool. Great way to beat the Hill Country heat!!
