We enjoy kayaking, fishing, rock hounding, mountain climbing, and experiencing different foods throughout the country.

My husband Geoff is a self-employed consulting forester who works for land owners across the county. He provides ethical, long term forest management along with a variety of services such as wildlife habitat improvement, timber trespass, etc... We spent over three months this winter in out Lance camper- 14 states, 10,801 miles and came home to build our new website with tips to save people time, money, and on-the-road hazards http://wwww.travelingincircles.typepad.com

Spending time on the road, meeting inspirational people, learning new creative hobbies, and seeing the sun shine.

Thanks for the warm welcome.  :)

This winter will definitely be an interesting change for us taking the brick and mortar office mobile to merge it with the forests.  Aircard, wifi router, netbooks, and all.

We're looking forward to finding out if it's easier to locate new land owners who are looking for quality forest management by going to them and getting leads throughout our travels
versus waiting for them to find us.  I'm not sure if we'll supplement with workamping, but at any rate we're up for an adventure and ready for the challenge.

Yes, Odin- the Norse God of wisdom and war, who thinks he's a lap dog.  :D  I think having him along this winter will be an interesting twist to trying to fit everything into the Lance truck camper.  I can't wait!!  :)

That is a great idea - go to them! Sounds like you have all the goodies needed - rolling house, internet connection, hubby and dog. All the other stuff is just details!!

There have always been three "dudes of old" that I have felt connected to - Poseidon, Thor, and Odin. I have no explanation for this, but it was awesome seeing how fitting that name was for your dog!

Welcome to the site! Your upcoming adventure sounds interesting. Your "office" sounds quite awesome - forests around the country! Looking forward to finding out more about it.

I LOVE your dog's name! Odin is such a noble name for a 107lb bulldog.

Glad to have you here!
