I enjoy living history events, partially because they help you experience a historical event and remember it, but also because they are great for photography. Lots of re-enactors dressed up etc.

Mostly lots of fun and interesting people at state parks.

I'm fairly low tech. Still using a not-so-smart phone etc. I realize that will have to change when I get on the road.

42, frugal, adventurous. Musical background but I work in software support and testing. My current RV is a 4x8 teardrop trailer- obviously not self-contained, but it is a cool little rig and is a novelty at campgrounds and makes it easy to meet my neighbors. It has AC, a microwave, fantastic fan, a sink in the galley, and even hot water heater. Fun rig and under 1000 lbs, but I'm not planning on full-timing in it. :)

Great food, clean air, beautiful surroundings, fun people. State and national parks.

Coolest: Tyler State Park. Beautiful park in East TX with great mountain biking, hiking, fishing, etc.
Suckiest: I went to a KOA in Montgomery, TX once, and that will be the last. It was a last resort since the nearby state parks were booked up. Wasn't my kind of resort- too much concrete and not enough trees.
