To pay the bills, I am a professional freelance writer. We avoid having a lot of bills by being very frugal. I write blogs, articles, newsletters, news releases, columns, web content...whatever my clients need. I've also written a couple of books and will start querying magazines again once I can afford a pro-level camera.

I am the owner-operator of Markeroni, the Gentle Art of Landmark-Snarfing, which I'm currently rebuilding from the ground up for functionality and user-friendliness. It was the first ever online community dedicated solely to historical markers and historic sites, founded in 2003.

I don't know what you mean by this.

I'm Anglo-American, and became an American citizen a couple of years ago. I'm part of a DH-and-me team. I prefer to stop and smell the roses. I ride a 1400cc Suzuki Intruder. We'd like to sell our larger bikes and replace with smaller dual sports, which would be more suitable for our desire to go and boondock in the forest, but it's not a selling market. We'll see how towing goes. I pet cats and like to read and Book-cross.

I think it's funny that the spell-checker doesn't like "boondock."
