Oh my, oh my!! I cant wait for spring 2016!! 30 years of career and mainstream life and my job ends just for budget reasons. I cashed in my retirement and paid off all my debt and bought an RV. I plan to visit every national park out west worth seeing and live at each one for a while. I hike and mountain climb so I will have a blast. No more debt or living a life not mine!... Read More

I bought my 1979 Mallard last Summer for $2,000.  We made it past one exit on the highway after I drove it off the lot.  It has been sitting at the mechanic's until I come up with the money for a new engine.  I expected that would be the case before I bought it.  Once I get that done (hopefully soon), I will start cleaning up the inside.  I'd like to be on the road by April.  Given my current responsibilities, I will probably not be full-time living in the RV.  ... I have wanted to do full time rving for years,but i have a family now. I am trying to convince my wife on the idea of it. I was wondering if there are any couples with young children like a family of 4 or 5 doing this full time and how you make it work and what is a good size rv to get. any ideas or suggestions would be great!...
