We have arrived at Lazy L&L and the party prep is coming together! This is a very cool park, out in the middle of nowhere. It is quiet, the stars are abundant, and the river runs right below us. What the hell more do we need!?!!?!
Couple of things for getting here. I highly suggest taking the Dallas route from the Lazy L&L website. Taking FM306 up to FM 2673 and take a left, then a left on River Road. River Road is a bit tight and windy, but I took it easy with 65' of rig. Posted speed limit is mostly 20mph. Follow your GPS and look for the Lazy L&L entrance. There is a sign just before a weight limited bridge, but keep going. It is obvious when you get to the entrance, and your GPS should be dead on.
Once you arrive, drive on in. No need to stop at the office to check in. Follow the road back, staying to the right as you come down the road. We are in site 146, which is right here. We get the Pavilion 2 (P2 on the map), as well as a couple of meeting rooms if we want the.
Cell service is OK, not super strong tho. I have my antenna and booster going. We are pretty close to the wifi antenna, but in the back of my coach it is a little weak. If you have an antenna, that would be best. Otherwise, I am working off the wifi and it is fine.
We did some food and and Happy Hour! shopping today, and things are looking good. Get on out here so the good times can begin!
