Where do I start?

I've only saved up a few thousand so far, but full time RVing is a lifestyle I'm dedicated to researching. I am reading the forums, (please don't think me lazy), but I'm wondering where else I should start. Specifics.

Some of the things I'm looking for (but I want to know anything you'd like to share)

I have a job I can do on the road.... but, how do you find cellular internet?

Can you give me at least a general idea of your expenses? Like, I said, I'm building my savings now and am trying to determine my goal... I'd like to be getting on the road in 2016.

I've seen talk of RV groups with mail forwarding services and address info and the like... What exactly are they?

How soon should I state researching domiciling and which state is the best for me?

How long do you like to stay in one place? Do you find that typical of your fellow RVers?

If you can suggest another thread thats pretty much the same as mine, I'd appreciate it!

I just feel overwhelmed by the whole forum experience and, while I'm reading, I also feel like a lot of the topics aren't for me yet... I'm still at the stages where I'm determining if I can do this and where to start... not a lot of you are.

Any advice or suggestions is completely welcomed. I know its not a glamorous life, I'm not looking at this with rose colored glasses, I'm trying to be a realist so absolutely any help is a gift.

If you're curious, I'm 28, but I'm not sure thats important.

We aren't on the road yet (we have 3.5 months left on our lease, and are currently shopping for our next home!), but I can share some resources that I've gathered a huge amount of info from over the last two years.

Many of the people I'm going to list are members here so may chime in as they have time (and I'm probably missing a bunch of other really great resources).

These are in no particular order, and you'll find a mix of retired people and others that are still working or running their own business. You'll also see a mix of rigs from small trailers to buses. And you'll find couples, families, and singles.

Many of them also share their costs / expenses, how they stay connected, and have articles on domicile info, so you should be able to get some great ideas / answers.

Greetings and welcome... and thanks Skunk_workz for the great list!

Our blog is at the top of the list, but thought I'd point you to some of our relevant content that addresses a bunch of the stuff you're asking about:

No Excuses: Go Nomadis - http://www.technomadia.com/excuses (our blog series that goes over a lot of the logistics - like domicile, remote banking, working on the road, etc.)

Mobile Internet Resource Center - http://www.technomadia.com/internet - all of our articles on mobile internet, including a 40m video that overviews it.  We're also about to launch our book on the subject.

Video series - we have two video series:

Ramblings - http://www.technomadia.com/ramblings - interviews with lots of folks here on NuRVers

Live Chats: http://www.technomadia.com/video - we do monthly live video casts on various topics. Recommend checking some of them out.  'Realities and Myths of Full Time RVing' would be my top recommendation to start with.

Enjoy!
