Just wanted to say Hello to all.  The photo of my Wife, Jan and I was taken at the resturaunt in the Needle in downtown San Antonio of us celebrating our 40th Anniversary last Dec.  We are now living in our 2009 Phaeton and plan on heading out full time in February of 2009 with a trip to the place we first met, South Padre Island, Texas.  Hope meet some of you on the road some day during our travels.  Take care and be safe.

Welcome to the both of you! We love the San Antonio area, and will be headed that way after the first of the year. We have also threatened to go to the South Padre area, and the RGV. Lots of Texas to discover yet!

With all that Texas in our future, I am sure we will be bumping into each other eventually.

Greetings,

My DH and I retired 2 years ago and have been traveling most of the time since then.  We came to Alaska this summer and decided to stay for the summer. We are caretakers of a lovely log cabin here.  It is actually warmer here on the Kenai than where we used to live.

We don't plan much, but make decidions as we go along. We have  been thinking about a visit to Texas, and to Florida. Neithr of which we will see anytime in the summer.

We travel with our 10 year old - a lab, Moli who loves being on the road and is a joy to travel with.

Perhaps we will meet some of you on the road sometime.

Sue

Hi Sue - great to have you here! Ang and I would love to go to Alaska someday - but it will probably have to wait till I can work a little less and drive a little more :)

I look forward to reading more about your Alaskan adventures - and check out some pictures!
