My wife and I aren't on the road yet,
but she has given notice. The plan is to move into the RV and take up
residence in a RV park near Seattle for a few months. My work has an
office there so I will keep working as we continue to save up and of
course explore the city over the summer.

I was very excited to come across this
site. It seems like it will be a great resource moving forward.
Hopefully we will even make a few new friends.

You are where we were almost exactly a year ago. It's crazy exciting isn't it? One mistake we made is to take on too much. That is to say this idea is killing two birds with one stone. 1) start my own business, 2) see the country. We were moving to a new spot once a week and trying to see new things. one of them suffered. If we had to do it all over again, we'd move once a month or less until we established some good paying clients. Just some advice from someone who made some mistakes ;)
