If you are planning a trip to the Southern Cal beach cities of Torrance , Redondo or Hermosa DON'T do it period. They have the normal no parking signs posted but not the O/V signs. We are suposed to know that we can't park our rigs on there streets.  i GREW UP IN hERMOSA bEACH AND THESE NEW CHEESE doodles think that visiting friends should only be for tiny cars these days.

I hate to say this but we need to boycot the South bay area of LA county.  I really can't believe thhat this kind of sneaky law has stuck. I am planning on fighting it in court with the logic all street sweeping and no parkings are marked clearly but not the over sized signs.

Thanks for the heads up.. but I'm not clear on what the issue is?  Don't no-parking signs apply to all vehicles, regardless of size? I would assume that if I saw a no-parking sign, that it applied to any vehicle?

Or did you park in an otherwise designated parking area, that was an unmarked no-oversized vehicles allowed area - and thus got ticketed for that?

No Parking signs do which I follow the law, it is the over sized vehicle one that isn't posted. the way it is written is if you live in an apt you pretty much can't get a permit for your traveling friends.

Just saw this and want to add that RV parking restrictions are yet another reason why it's important to join Escapees, which, among other things, lobbies on behalf of RVers to ensure far municipality laws.

Sorry you got the ticket though.
