I've been watching Invention Nation on the Science channel - they have some cool concepts that could be used on a rv.

I wonder how much methane gas our blank tank produces... perhaps we can get enough to power something ;)

DOOD!! That show was the inspiration for having a specific forum for this! I had to change my Tivo from "Save 5" to "Save 10" because it is so cool. I have a bunch saved to show Damien when I see him this week.

I do wonder how they are shooting that show. Their green bus looks very empty, so it seems they must have something following them to carry the needed things to travel, plus camera equipment, etc. Wonder if they have a fleet of Prius' behind them :) Or maybe a 6 MPG gasser motorhome ;)

It looks like the show is shot with a single camera - but you do see shots of the veg. mobile going down the road.  My guess is that hey have a Diesel Jetta station wagon running biodiesel that follows them....

I'll pay more attention to the shows credits to see how many people it lists....

We turned Damien and Michelle onto Invention Nation last night! We ended up watching three episodes. I think they are big fans now, and I will probably have to save them all up until we see them again

The Bamboo Bike is so killer - http://www.calfeedesign.com/bamboo.htm  I really like that they are using their success in the industry to go out to third world countries to show them how to make bikes out of renewable resources. Snaps to them.

I enjoy the show, I just wish they would go into a bit more technical detail about the projects...

I would love to see the detail involved in the veggie conversion, or what really happend to the bus, we got a blip from the mechanic that it has a new head on it, and by it's age we can guess at it's make and model, but we don't know what really happend...  Was it just poor maintence?  Was it the veggies conversion?  Replacing a head isn't exactly a little project....

Anyhow, I do like the spirit of the show...
