If you are looking for some where to stay and want to keep costs low, check out http://freecampsites.net

It is a community driven database of free and low cost places to camp in an RV or other vehicle. The campsites are more geared toward wilderness locations and campgrounds than overnight stops at Walmart.

The interface is map driven, so it's easy to locate potential camping locations without knowing the name of the nearest town. Sites are submitted and reviewed by campers just like you.

There isn't a fee. In fact you don't even have to register. Anonymous users can do everything a registered user can. They just don't get the bragging rights of entering that super great spot that everyone loves.

End shameless self promotion.....

Thanks for posting that up!

Speaking of self promotion, the banner ads we allow on NuRVers are just for that - promoting NuRVers. If you have a banner, send it to me (kev at this domain) along with the URL you would like to point to. I will throw you in the banner pool with the rest of the NuRVers!

I have washboard abs. They are just hidden under 50#s of laundry.
