If you've not heard of this new site - RVParking.com - I highly recommend checking it out.  It's a free RV Park review site that is a bit more social networking centric than the other options out there.  You create a profile and add reviews to the site. Which allows you to better find reviews from sites from folks more aligned with what you seek in a campground. 

And.. they also have a FREE iPhone app that searches their database on a map. 

It's a new site, still in 'beta'.. and they currently list about 18,000 sites.  As can be expected, the data they have is a bit iffy (the biggest downside right now).  But they're not stopping at being satisfied with that.  

They just put out a call for 'fact checkers'.  Basically, when you have spare time - you log into a page they give you with campgrounds que'd up, and look up info on the campground's website (number of spots, dumps, pet rules, location).  And.. they pay you for it by the update! (Not enough to quit your day job, mind you.)  It can be some nice side cash WHILE helping to improve a resource that we all can benefit from (my primary motivation.. I was already fact checking as I left reviews for places we've stayed). 

I know that their vision of a comprehensive listing of camping options, searchable on a mobile device with actual user reviews is a vision of ours. And while we love RVParkReviews.com - we don't like that our reviews get posted as basically anonymous without option to be credited for our efforts, or to get to know other reviewers.  (And they don't have a mobile app). 

I'm also quite impressed with the staff at RVParking.com - I've had several e-mail exchanges with them.  They're putting action to their intentions, and are positively responsive and seeking user feedback on how to make this tool a resource for us all.
