Hello,

I just joined this website today and I'm so excited that this site exists.  I'm 35 years old and have been working in corporate america for 15 years and am ready to be more of my authentic self and live that purposeful life I've been dreaming about.  I will be putting my condo up for sale this month.  Thankfully where I'm living real estate is still moving as it comes to condos, so I'm very hopeful for a quick sale.  I'm in the process of becoming a Life Coach (I'm in month 5 out of 8).  I am working on the website and I also want to have a blog.  There is part of me that is a little fearful about this change, but I'm tired of resisting what I feel is what I need to do for myself.
I'm going back and forth between a Class A and Class C RV.  I guess it will all work itself out.  I hope to purchase RV by fall 2010 and be on the road south by the end of the year.

Hello - and welcome to the site!! Happy you found us here :)

I am also happy to hear that you are a little fearful of making a big change. I think if you weren't, something would be wrong! A bit of apprehension always comes with big changes in our lives. You are getting ready to strike out on a path that is not often taken. That is a great thing if you ask us!

Good luck in your adventure. Be sure to ask if you have any specific questions coming up. We will be more than happy to give our opinions!

Hi!

Congrats on the decision and all the good stuff to come with it. Any questions, ask often, ask away. People are on the move frequently so don't worry if you don't always get answered right away. It will come.

Btw, what is a life coach?

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for the warm welcome!!  I will definitely make this my new home.  I spent the whole night reading through the forum and gaining so much insight, information and new terminology, i.e. what does toad stand for! I figured it out it's a vehicle that is being towed, but is it an acronym?

Steve -  Great Question!! :) A life coach is someone that can help people tap into their inner most purpose and passion and connect that with out goals and tasks that they wish to accomplish to help bring about extraordinary and sustainable results!  Awesome huh?  I'm still in the process of learning how to do this well!  It's awesome as I care so much for people and always wanted to be doing something where I can help inspire and motivate others to live that purpose-full life!

Another amazing thing about this profession is it's mostly done by phone, which will enable me to be anywhere I want to be!

Oh, since you're gonna be working on the road via phone. Being on the road doesn't always mean you're gonna get you the best signal. You might want to look into buying one of these then ...

I've seen them going around 2 bills on amazon.com and am pretty sure you may be able to write this off as a business expense. Gotta save every penny you can these days.

Welcome! You'll find that you're in good company, and if you have any questions at all there will be someone here who can answer them.

One thing you'll hear a lot of from older RVers when you start traveling..."I wish I would've done this when I was younger." I love hearing that!

Hubby and I been traveling for 3 years now and it's changed our lives, our outlook and our future plans for the better. Life on the road gives you a perspective that you just can't get when you're stuck in one place.

We are all indeed blessed for finding the resources and courage to give up the traditional life and hit the road. Congrats!!

LiveWorkDream - It is so awesome and I can't wait to be on the road!  Thanks!

Steve - Thanks for pointing me in that direction.  I will definitely put it on my shopping lists as I will always need reliable cell phone service for making calls.
