Ok who thought it would be a good Idea to use this crap for plumbing in what has to be some of the most hard to reach places?

You know what I am talking about that gray crap'ola with the clamps that rott out all the time.

My old TT has all copper pipe with flare fittings, and have never had a leak. My new home has like 10 grrr, and counting.

sorry had to vent lol most people have no idea what I am talking about.

Irecently replumbed my Motorhome.

Had I planned the work better I wouuld have just done it all at one time rather than in phases and stages as I shifted from the bathroom to the kitchen to the supply system etc.

say la vee

As to pex the key is working on the "assemblies" away from their install cubby holes and then installing all put together manifolds.

Apollo makes a tool to remove the old copper compressio ring ( save 3 fittings and it pays for itself). The mini crimper tool is a PITA. It works but man oh man. Much better to plan the job and rent/borrow a long handled ring crimper tool.

When I get my head above water I'll post up some pics.

Plumbing and electric - those two things will always leave me scratching my head, and bloodying my hands.

I hate the PEX fittings because the local hardware stores don't ever seem to carry the same things I need. So, I either have to find them on the web, or order from the manufacturer. Both of those options suck when you are dealing with a leak - or have to have the water shut off so you don't flood yourself!

I usually end up getting a few extra things so that I have a little spare parts for things like that. Have no idea why none of my spare parts are the things I need though. Guess that is how it works out :)

Good luck!!

I have washboard abs. They are just hidden under 50#s of laundry.
