I am basically a computer cave-man who only has used a handfull of forums over the last few years. I'm in that great age range where I was one of the last generations to not use computers in school, but still young enough that I haven't completely embraced them. Every forum I've used has different ways of posting pics to a link, and I tried a few I knew, such as using tinypic.com, to no avail.

I'd like to post up some pics of my bus conversion as the family and I work on and enjoy it. Could someone shed some light for this newbie?

Looks like you found the Gallery, as I saw your bus pic posted! Nice job - and awesome bus!

If you got lucky and are not sure how to repeat it, one of the ways is to click "My Account" in the top navigation. On the right side of the page, the second link down is "Upload Picture". Click that link, follow the directions, and you are in!

I have washboard abs. They are just hidden under 50#s of laundry.

Thanks. On other sites I've used, I can put the pics right in the forum thread. Is that possible here or do I just have to put up stuff in the gallery and direct people there?

Once it is in the gallery, how does it get/stay connected to my posts?

Once the image is in the Gallery, you can add an image to your post by copying the URL that is in the box labeled "Image URL/Location:" on the photo's page. In your Forum post, click the "Image" button and paste the URL into the box.

Upload image
Copy URL from box
Paste URL into Insert Image dialog in Forum

That should do it! I copied the URL given on your bus picture and am showing it below. I usually change the size to no bigger than 500 wide for forum posts so it doesn't make them crazy big :)
