Hello everyone! My name is Keith, and I have been checking out this site for awhile and decided to join up.

I've been into the outdoors and camping most of my life, and have introduced my wife and kids to it as well. A few years back I purchased a 1948 Greyhound bus that was converted into an RV back in 1970. My wife and I rescued it from a junkyard in Ohio that was going to crush it for scrap. Since then I've been repairing the mechanicals, and soon I'll be working on updating the inside.

The last few months I was in Ohio where I was semi-fulltiming out of the old bus, and I got a real taste for what I've always wanted to do. The job is done, but now the wife and I have the house up for sale, and we are seriously discussing fulltiming for awhile when it sells while we try to find a new place to call home.

The wife and I are both 30, and we have a 6 year old boy and a 3 year old girl.

Welcome to the site Keith! Looking forward to seeing more about your bus. That was quite the task you took on!

Just a little warning about heading out on the road "for a bit". It is pretty addictive, and not so easy to leave once you get started!!

I have washboard abs. They are just hidden under 50#s of laundry.

Hey Keith,

The bus project sounds exciting! My wife and I looked into fulltiming in a bus before we found our Avion. I don't think I'm handy enough to take on that kind of project - interested to hear more about it!
