Greetings from Gonzales, TX - the site of the upcoming NuRver's Gathering, Part Duex. Things are already ramping up here, with 4 rigs already onsite, and folks descending upon the coordinates as I type this. I'm so excited with anticipation to have our tribe together!
I wanted to toss this out to those with an adventurous nature. I actually grew up in Austin, and my little brother actually still lives there... thus why we're already here.
He's an accomplished skydiver, and has had his tandem rating for years. By week, he is an IT professional.. and by weekend, a skydiving instructor. He does tandems and AFF training at the very close-by San Marcus Skydiving (perhaps... 30 minutes away from the campground). I wanted to toss it out there... if any of you have been itching to jump out of a perfectly good airplane... I can hook you up with a reputable person and drop zone.
I have personally strapped myself to him, and jumped not once.. but twice, from a not-so-perfect airplane. (We called the video: 'Mom's worst nightmare').
Looking forward to seeing all who can make it to the Gathering.. and all who we might cross paths with in the future!
