Wunderground.com is my favorite weather website, as it is so much less buggy and faster than Weather.com. One of the coolest resources on the site is the Roadtrip area. You input where you are going and when you are departing, and it will generate your driving directions on a Google Map, along with weather along the way.

http://www.weather.gov/view/states.php provides text products that can be very useful; you can read special weather statements and warnings as they go out, often long before they're transmitted on local tv and radio.
