We are new here. We bought a 1988 Class C just to test the concept of RV'ing! It took one trip and we were hooked! We retired in our mid-50's and hit the road! We started our own personal blog just to document our adventures. We named our Class C Miss Lueffie, you'll just have to ask us why! Our next trip, up the East Coast! We weren't waiting for a golden egg before living the RV lifestyle, just the guts to do it. We hope to meet others who are new at RV'g and share adventures!

Here is to your new lifestyle!!! The wife and I just started as well. 4 months on the road now and loving it. Currently in Live Oak, FL for Spring Fest on the Suwannee River. After that we are on our way to Texas to meetup with the Nurvers crew. It should be a blast. Look forward to sharing with you. Have fun.

Welcome to NuRVers - and nomadic happiness!! I am very jealous of that "retired" thing!

The motorhome we have now is our 4th. We bought one to take to Burning Man, and ended up loving the motorhome so much we started doing a lot of weekend trips. Then longer trips. Next thing you know my house is up for sale and I everything I have is up on Craigslist!

Looking forward to reading your blog. Always feel welcome to post something in our News area to send people over to your site.

Hope to see you guys on the road!

I have washboard abs. They are just hidden under 50#s of laundry.

Welcome! It's great to see more adventurous spirits here.

Jim and I started traveling in June of 07. What we thought would turn out to be a one year sabbatical has turned into a way of life. Once we tried this lifestyle, we knew there was no going back.

Enjoy the ride!

Tried to go to your blog, but got a *page not found*.  Anyway, my DW and I are tired of the rat race and are in the process of selling all of our *toys*.  Hope to order our new 5th wheel (a Carriage Cameo 35SB3) sometime next month (Apr 10).  We plan to move into the Carriage (on our property), sell everything else over the next year, sell the house in the Spring of 2011, move to an RV park in Albuquerque for a year while we still work, then quit our jobs in the Summer of 2012.  Seems like such a long time before we'll finally break free, but our plans are moving along slowly but surely!

Hi there! I misspelled the URL, sorry... it is http://fugawetribe.com/, I loved your reply. We have been adding more and more places to our route plans and going stir crazy waiting for spring so we can get on the road. Our plans are to leave on May 5 to head north and will cover as many states as possible until we decide it's time to come back home. Who knows how long we'll be gone but our blog and this one will be posted to daily! We'll keep our homebase for now but I can see us selling it in the near future and going RV'g full time!!! whoohoo
