First, I want to welcome all of the Nu Members!!! We have had a lot of Nu people turned on to NuRVers in the last couple of weeks, and that is a great thing!

This site is not built by anyone - it is built by everyone. If you like NuRVers.com, thank yourself, because it is YOU that has created it. If you think it is a little light on goodies, post some stuff!! Here are some ideas:

• CHANGE YOUR DEFAULT AVATAR!!! OK, that is in all caps because I have a mission against seeing all the green icons when I log in. Upload a picture of your dog. Of your bike. Tonight's cocktail. I don't care - just get rid of that default avatar!

• Upload a picture to the gallery, or comment on a picture there! Everyone has their own picture gallery, and it is available to everyone. Most people have their own sites/Flicker/Picasa/etc, but share with us here! Upload a picture of your campsite, your dog, your rig, tonight's cocktail. If you don't want to upload a picture, then comment on someone elses! You clicked on a picture, and had a thought about it. Post it up!!

• Make a News Post! The News Articles are great because they are on the home page for both users and members, and allow us to highlight interesting things in the web world. Have an interesting post on your blog? News Post! See a web article that would be interesting to NuRVers? News Post!! Don't be shy about posting News Articles. If they are spammy or not appropriate, a moderator will remove it. Big deal!! Post another one to replace it!

• Update your profile! It is fun to read about others adventures, rigs, and situations. We are unique here in that they all don't read "Retired, traveling". No, we are NuRVers - we are different! Your Profile is a great way to introduce yourself to others.

• While you are updating your Profile, update your location!! We have a great Map that shows NuRVers locations, which makes it easy to hook up with others on the road. No need to go to Bingo Night, or the Shuffleboard Championships - hook up with another NuRVer and have some fun! It is not necessary to put your exact location - use the local Zip code, or put the geo location of the park or the town center or something. Put your exact location - just let us know where you are!

A community-built social networking site is nothing without contributions from the users. We have the most technical savy, coolest people in the RVing world!
