Just signing in & joining the Nu crowd of RVers. We are psyched to start our life in our RV. Plans for 2010 so far are NY Fingerlakes Winery (our Fav) in April, Yellowstone in early June, Lake Ontario in July - so far! In the meantime, constant planning for fulltiming in 5 years is our goal. So, does this group have Rallies? Is there a schedule? Glad to meet everyone!

Welcome Linda and Scott!! Fulltiming in 5 years - sounds like a great plan. Plenty of time to start shedding the possessions, sell the house, and gear up for adventure!

 

We are an odd group here, with diverse backgrounds. The best part about that is that there is something for everyone that way!! :) We have had one official rally so far - The Gathering - in 2009. We are looking to have another towards the end of April in the Texas Hill Country. Last year we had 6 rigs join up - this year we hope to double that! However, the organizer is a slacking, non-planner, and does well to have lots of help to keep him on track. Luckily, I have lots of great help to push me along :)

 

Looking forward to meeting you two down the road! Let us help push you in that direction in the mean time!!

We'll be in the beautiful Winery country of the Fingerlakes in Upstate NY - Wouldn't that make for a fun rally place (KOA in Watkins Glen, 4/23-25)? Perhaps we'll see some of you all there.

We're fairly new at this whole full-timing thing, but loving it so far.  We'll probably make it to the Nurvers rally this year, as I'm looking forward to meeting up with everything I've been pestering and I want to be out in Texas anyhow.
