Well, we're only part-timers at this point in time.  Our initial investment is a Roadtrek, and that's big enough for the both of us.  We're planning on a cross country road trip out to Burning Man this summer with stops at various areas along the way, off the beaten path.  Basically on the road for the first time for a couple of months!  Our only regret is not being able to take our parrot and cat with us due to desert conditions and restrictions...

But hello to all the fellow RVers out there!

And hello to you! Welcome to NuRVers - great to have you here with us!

Nice to have a fellow Burner here. One of our members - Technomadia - organizes a camp each year. Ang and I have not been out in a couple of years now, but have been with the radio station K-SVERT for many years. But, as you know, once a Burner, always a Burner :)

Burners or not, you will find many here that may not have been to the Playa, but still have the spirit - the soul of BM. That is what really counts!

Congrats on starting out with the COOLEST Class B ever! Love the Roadtreks - great rigs. Looking forward to hearing about your adventures on the road!

I have washboard abs. They are just hidden under 50#s of laundry.

I've been in contact with Technomadia already and they befriended me through the site.  We are looking forward to meeting on the Playa this year.  This will be my first year to the big Burn and my partner's second time there.  He's a member of the Earth Guardians.

This Roadtrek, by the name of V'ger, is the second one in the family.

We are looking forward to many adventures this summer!

Thank you for the warm welcoming messages.

Welcome up!  Passed plenty of Roadtreks on the road... they look cool, but a bit small for us I think.

V'ger...  what movie was that from?  That's gonna drive me crazy!

'01 Newmar Dutch Star - No name yet, but my wife calls it the Death Star. :S
'06 Jeep Unlimited Rubicon - "Teflon" - has to go away soon. :(

'09 Jeep Unlimited Rubicon - I call it "Little Tiny Baby Jeep That Needs To Grow Up By About Four Inches", but Dasy isn't really happy about that.

'03 Yamaha TW-200 - "Little Tractor"

Yup...The first Star Trek movie.  Hard to believe that was put out in 1979!  Wow!  We watched it again soon after getting V'ger.  Kind of fitting actually with the being growing and evolving, similar to a child.  V'ger is a child among the huge RVs out there!  Adequate for us, tho.

Hey welcome! Jim and I loved the RoadTrek, we almost bought one. Hope to see you somewhere in the desert this winter. Look for us at the Slabs.
