Hello From California.

I found this site on Gizmondo and thought finally a place to talk to others in our lifestyle.

Beth and I (She is Cirius0 on this site) have been full timing in a Travel Trailer since May 1st, 2006.

We are on our second trailer and have been based in Half Moon Bay, CA for the past few years but are interested in meeting and talking with others in the Full Time Lifestyle that are under 70!

We started bloging about our adventures at http://www.lukek.ca/ which covers a range of topics but mostly surfing my latest passion.

To learn a bit more of what we are about please see a greatest hits post at:

http://www.lukek.ca/?p=314

You will find postings on how we have used EVDO from sprint for over 3 years to our adventures with a frozen grey tank in Wisconsin in 2007

You can also follow me on twitter at http://twitter.com/lkilpatrick

Very happy to answer questions or if your in the Bay Area it would be great to meet up. I also teach surfing lessons if you are ever out my way too!

Welcome to the site! Great to have you both here with us!

Angie and I are originally from the Bay Area - San Jose to be exact. We have stayed out in Half Moon Bay a few times before we became fulltimers. We hit up the Bay Area once or twice a year, so maybe we will include HMB in our stop next time! We always stayed at the state park there - awesome park.

Maybe I will hit you up for the surf lessons. Can we start at Mavericks???? I have been a huge Mavericks fan for a long time, even though I have never made it out to the contest in person. My favorite local band of all time is the Mermen, and they are kind of like Mavericks "house band" :)

Thanks again for joining up - I will hit up all your links in the next couple days!

I have washboard abs. They are just hidden under 50#s of laundry.

I don't surf Mavericks as I lack both the physical and mental equipment to surf it (maybe someday) How ever I do teach at the next break over from Mavs and you can see it breaking from there. Contest will probably be in Jan. If you want to check out some of my recent pictures and video I shot over the past two weeks at mav's check them out at.

Sending welcome greetings as well! Chris started his full timing adventure from the Bay Area as well, and we are often in the area.
