Just wondering if anyone has any cool events coming up in the next few months. We have decided to go to the Moab Jeep Jamboree in October, and I am really excited about that. I know Fantasy Fest is approaching in October (have always wanted to go to that!), as are a few RV rallies and such. The Big Show is happening in January in Quartzite, and Ang and I are planning on stopping by there for a bit as well.

We're going to the SEMA show in Las Vegas at the beginning of November.

We're going to Photoshop World with NuRVer CreativeSavage in Vegas next week.  We have a bunch of other potentials on our calendar too. We actually track cool events at:

We don't know yet what we're doing after Vegas, but we are considering the Albuquerque Balloon Festival.

The Balloon Festival is pretty fun.  I think it also coincides with one of the yearly openings of the Trinity bomb site, which if you can make it is pretty geektacular, too.

Interesting - had not heard of this. Sounds like they are open the first Saturday of April and October. Background info here -

I have seen races like this before and would love to go to one. The Kinetic Sculpture Challenge has been one that I wanted to go to. 

 

But, alas, today I spend looking for a dump station....
