Any NuRVers going to Burning Man this year?

If so, we invite you to camp with Camp Nomadia, a camp we host for nomads of all sorts.  



Our vision is to camp with othercool nomadic spirits, share stories, resources, share our passion forour chosen lifestyles and make connections for future rendezvouses.

Wehosted this camp for the first time at Burning Man 2008, and intend todo it again for 2009. We're a pretty chill camp, with each nomad beingself-sufficient for water, cooking, clean-up, etc. We'll have verylittle group infrastructure (aside from perhaps a group shadestructure), thus no camp fees.

Thiscamp is open to current nomads, future nomads, wanna be nomads, parttime nomads, domestic nomads, international nomads, technomads,lowtechnomads, former nomads, land nomads, amtrekkers, backpackers,water nomads or folks who just want to be around nomads (yes, yournon-nomadic friends can join too!). Burning Man veterans and virginsalike!

Do you guys get placed, or do you have a "neighborhood" that you find a spot and claim?

Unfortunately, we didn't get placed - 130 camps were denied placement this year because they scaled back the size of the city.
