I'm addicted to the Internet. Dunno where I'd be without it.

When traveling, I need my laptop, webcam, portable printer, cellphone, GPS (I have no co-pilot). Would love to have an iPhone.

I left Canada in December 2005 for Amsterdam, where I bought a 1992 Ford Rimor Kayak (Class C RV on a Ford Transit chassis). I traveled throughout Europe for 13 months in my RV (over 40,000 km), alone with my 2 cats and loved the lifestyle so much I decided I wanted to live that lifestyle permanently. Ran out of money in January 2007 so came back home to Montreal and have been working ever since at finding a way (jobwise and moneywise) to be a nomad again.

PS - I'm very interested in knowing other young"ish", single/solo NuRVers: I'll be looking for a partner (pilot/co-pilot) when I'm ready to get going.

My laptop, my books, my cats.

Europe campgrounds are amazing; most have a convenience store and a bar/restaurant to meet other nomads.

Fave Places:

In winter:
Crete and the Pelopponese (Greece), and Sicily (Italy). Didn't get a chance to go to Portugal's Algarve and Spain's Costa del Sol and Costa Brava but would love to winter there.

In summer:
Amsterdam and Meersen (near Maastricht) in the Netherlands, the Swiss or Austrian Alps, Hallstatt (Austria), Prague (Czech Rep.) and all of France.

Hi Jennifer!

If you check out my 2006 blog, don't be put off by the French writing; I started out writing in French because of one friend who doesn't understand English, but after 3-4 months, I wrote in both languages and then solely in English.  There are also loads of pictures. Hope it makes you want to make your fantasy come true!  My fantasy is to circle the globe by RV.

Enjoy!

Thank you for saying hello! I am so glad to connect with you.

I am going to go read your 2006 blog, now. ;) Europe in an RV is a huge fantasy, so I can't wait to read all about your solo adventure.

 Jennifer
