I am a certified Master SCUBA diver, and we dive as often as possible...I prefer 80/80/80 diving. 80 degree air temps, 80 degree water temps, and 80 foot vis! Our favorite dive places include Bonaire, Roatan, and the Sea of Cortez in Mexico. We also enjoy spring diving in Florida.
I also enjoy caving, bicycling, hiking, and rockhounding! We also enjoy exploring old ghost towns, and following dirt roads just to see where they go to.

My hubby, James, and I are former full-timers and are working on getting back on the road. I'm currently working as an Environmental Health Specialist in TN. I just graduated from grad school, and have been applying like a mad woman for Environmental Consulting jobs or NPS/BLM/Ag jobs that will allow us to travel throughout the southwest again. James runs our real estate investment business. We recently sold our Jayco Designer 5er, and are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new Heartland Landmark Grand Canyon. Bertha is my hubby's Dodge 3500. We're planning a long vacation to Tucson and southern CA in December and the first part of January.
Our kids are all of the 4-legged variety. Riley is our 19 month old GSD. I tell everyone he must have been a slap-stick comedian in his former life, because he is hilarious. His antics make me shake my head sometimes while laughing at him. We also have 6 cats, all of whom we rescued.

German Shepherd Dogs, cats, & the smell of creosote & desert sage after a rain.

Coolest: I'll have to think on this one. In Tucson: we really enjoyed Desert Trails RV Park. In Northern CA, we stayed at a really neat RV park toward the south end of the Redwoods that had an elk herd as regular visitors. I can't remember the name. In Ajo, AZ: Ajo Heights RV Park.
In TN: Edgar Evins State Park...awesome sites on wooden decks built on the side of a steep slope overlooking Center Hill lake.
Suckiest: That terrible RV park outside of Ft.Worth, where we could almost touch the belly of the jets everytime one took off. That was one TERRIBLE night! And who could forget the mean, nosy, complaining old man next to us at Mystic Forest RV Park in Klamath. The park was nice, and the blackberries wonderful...but that psycho ruined our stay!
