We got around pretty well before our fulltime adventure. We traveled all over east of the Mississippi, Hawaii, Guam, six European countries, and Mexico.

Way to many to list!

We are Ryan and Nicole. We headed out into the great blue open! We left our "regular" lives looking for fun, adventure, and searching for our own "American Dream". We've been living full time in our RV since 2008, while working our way across the country! Along with our loyal 85 pound dog, Kay, we live in our 22 foot long travel trailer, and love every minute of it!

Our lives where pretty typical. We had a home, cars, vacations, jobs demanded way to much time, pressure, headaches, and such. We came to the decision that we wanted to leave the Chicago area and simplify our life, but we had no idea where we wanted to settle. Full time RVing seemed like a great way for us to explore ourselves, and our nation, while finding that place and life that if just right for us.

No pensions or retirement checks here! We live simply, travel frugally, and deny ourselves nothing. Our travels are 100% funded by the road.

We enjoy so many activities listing them all would be a pain. Over the years we have developed way to many hobbies and such. Here is a short list of some of our favorites. In no order:
Camping
Reading
Rockhounding
Hiking
Making things
Rock Art
Kayaking
History
Geology
Cooking
Our Dog
Swimming

The suckiest campgrounds are the ones we have to pay for. We try to boondock as much as possible, and usually don't pay much for our site when we are working. Just the way we like to travel!

We've found some awesome boondocking sites. Some of our favorites are in SW Utah near Moab, near hot springs, and all over NO California.
