I have washboard abs. They are just hidden under 50#s of laundry.

Love diving in the Caribbean, hiking, hanging out with my kids.

We have met a lot of great people while on the road. We have a little folder where we keep cards and notes on many of the folks we meet. I will try to start listing them here - then get them to sign up!

I am a techNomad! Love computing platforms, GPS devices, internet connectivity on the road

I am a web geek that is free from the bonds of living in the Silicon Valley. We are traveling the US in our 2006 Monaco Knight 40PLQ while I work as an application architect/developer. My main client is Cisco Systems, and I do a lot of small projects for other clients.

We travel without much of a plan - which is how we both like it.

My kids and grand daughter, traveling, cocktails with friends

Hi Kevs,

I'm new and looking for some sort of sticky thread telling me how this works?  Any place I should start? I'm buying my motorhome this week and hitting the road full time with my 4 small kids next month!

Hi Kev, We FINALLY are back and getting ready to be full-timers! It seems you areour only friend left on here now. I apologize for not being on here but so much happening. We are selling our home in about two weeks and pick up our RV about June 3rd. We hope to be FREE and on the road by late June or early May. We can't wait!! Hope all is well with you! Hey Guys, I haven't been here in a few. Have you got your home back, yet? If so, why the heck are you still sweating in TX?

Hi Kev, Don't know if ya got my reply on that picture concerning the Georgia Burning-Man Spin off, so I'll put it here. But Yes, you can get tickets/invites to that festival, likely up until the day before the show (none are sold at the gate though).

The web-site is: http://www.alchemyfestival.com/

They ask that you decorate your RV , so that it doesn't look like a vehicle, but that is kinda fun. Its a great time to be had in Georgia (Sept 29- Oct 3rd 2011)

Thanks!  We do our best at having a blast!  Now that we are on the road, it might get really interesting! ;)

Howdy there, enjoyed reading some of your experiences. Quartzside is an interesting place we did that a couple years ago.

Later this year we will become FTNH and we're pretty excited about it.

We are likely to head east to start our journy, but one never knows.

Hey Kevs, thanks for the dawg tip! I just bookmarked "The Happy Hound" on my Yelp page. We'll be through there next spring!

Great site BTW, I'm really enjoying browsing around... I hope to contribute as well. Cheers!

yeah - I noticed it was a bit pricey...but then, everything in the bay is...we are going to be all over the bay area for about a week and will mostly try to park in front of friend's homes but it might be nice to stay a couple of days with hook ups...

We'd love to meet you guys for drinks while we're there, maybe sometime between 11/18-21st?

just checking out Coyote Valley - looks pretty nice!

It is nice! It is a young park - in park age and age of people here. Lots of traveling nurses, geeks doing valley business, etc. Trees are small, and it is a little costly, but it is the closest to San Jose, which is where are family and friends are!

hey Kev, maybe we can post the NuRVers NYers eve party on the NuNomad Tribe Nomad Gatherings on their classifieds page?  Also, I have a bunch of peeps asking me about the Quartzite party - maybe there can be one place that has ALL the info on it and on boondocking in Quartzite??

Good suggestion. I am not active on the NuNomad site, so if you are, feel free to post a link. I will start adding more information to the forum post now that we are getting closer.

Thanks!

kev

Where would I find a link...or will you send it to me once you set it up?
thanks...
