OK Tiffany - maybe we can meet up in the deep south this winter, when all the roadbirds get swept together in the little hot pockets of southern CA or AZ. We spent much of last winter barefoot in the Mojave desert in eastern Cal.
Our blog is http://barefootandbookish.wordpress.com and I'm on FB as Cami Renfrow.
If you're into cob houses as you pass through Coquille Oregon near Bandon on the coast, the Cob Cottage Company is an interesting place to go spend a night or two. They always need extra hands and it's an interesting tour. There's an intentional community just up the hill from them. Ianto and Linda are their names.
thanks for the note! i agree...sounds like we would have plenty to talk about by a campfire. we also will head out in about a month from our present base in idaho. our plan is to head up to seattle, slowly make our way down the coast to the south for the winter.
